I want to get the Falken Wildpeak AT/W3 in 265/65-17 and mount them on Rubicon JL rims. That size is really close to the stock size of 265/60-18. The JL rims will stick out a little farther. I'm more worried about those rims clearing the calibers. Let us know if you take a hit on fuel mileage with those tires.
Logically speaking I know 22's make more sense as I can keep more meat and have longer lasting better riding tires, especially for the money. But 22's have been done many times on the wk2. It is confirmed that the biggest tire you can fit on a KL without any mod and rubbing issues is 245/70/17. Without any mod, your tires will be rubbing against the fender liners when turning.
