I really don't know if Microsoft Authenticator app uses GMS or GCM. I don't have the tech skills to say that. I just assumed so, because i can't get it to work on my Huawei P40 Lite (i get a push notifications registration error) but i can make it work on a Huawei P20 Lite (for example), using the same Microsoft accounts.
