I have a P20 with a broken screen ;( and i want to recover the photos saved on the smartphone. If i connect the P20 to a computer, i can hear the "sound of the connection", but i can't see anything on the screen. NB: There's a pin to unlock the phone thanks in advance!
If I turn it on, unlock it, and plug in a Type-C to HDMI dongle (with power), it does not mirror the screen onto the display. I know the dongle works, as I've tested it with several devices. HiSuite detects the device is in recovery mode, but then continues to say the device is not supported for system recovery.
